We must all go forward in time. But one should go forward on a winding, meandering path, never a straight one.
It is a personal opinion that "convention" and a "straight and narrow path" are not conducive to artistic spirit and endeavors. To provide individuals and society a glimpse into the very fabric of the creative force - that which made all this possible - one cannot wile away the days in a manner that produces the conclave of everyday rigors.
To create from the soul and put oneself out into a world that hides razor tongues and shallow minds, one must be more than a little mad. As pointed out by Louis Carroll in "Alice in Wonderland":
"We're all mad here."
